BeinnbhreaghKennels is the home of Nova Scotia Duck Tollers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
We have chosen to name our kennel Beinnbhreagh for a number of reasons. Beinnbhreagh means 'beautiful mountain' in the ancient Gaelic language. Gaelic is the language of our heritage. It was also once the home of inventor Alexander Graham Bell and is located in the town of Baddeck, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
We are from Cape Breton therefore naming our kennel Beinnbhreagh Kennels, captures what is ideal about Nova Scotia; heritage, beauty, and nature.
Beinnbhreagh Kennels is located in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, on 4 acres of woodland, providing an ideal setting for Tollers and Cavaliers to grow up. It is the environment for a happy and healthy lifestyle.
Beinnbhreagh Kennels is registered with the Canadian Kennels Club and we are members of the the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Club of Canada, and the USA. Geralyn Tobin is the Maritime Director for the National Club of Canada.
We are committed to raising and breeding sound, healthy dogs, with temperaments that are second to none. No dog will be bred unless it has proven to be healthy, with a sound, confident temperament, which will make all families happy.
Beinnbhreagh's dogs are multiple award winning show dogs.Our Tollers and Cavaliers have outstanding records in the show ring, which makes us feel we are heading in the right direction. No matter what expectation we have for a promising litter we never loose site that ALL our dogs are pets first, anything else you do with your pet is a bonus.
